Daniel Tricarico -- Biography

Hi.  My name is Dan Tricarico.  I have been an English teacher at West Hills High School since 1992.  I grew up in Santee, so I feel I have a unique perspective on the community and the mindset of the students attending our school. Not only do I love my job, but I feel grateful every day that I get to work as a member of The Wolfpack.  The dedication of the students, the high academic standards of the teachers, and the beautiful campus have, without a doubt, made me a better educator.  On a personal note, I have been married since 1996 and have two young daughters.  In my spare time, I enjoy writing fiction, listening to music (especially Roots Rock and The Blues), reading mystery novels, and watching movies.  Currently, I teach Sophomores and Juniors.
